The Pennsylvania Department of Health is investigating cancer rates in communities surrounding three current and former military bases. The U.S. Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease is also looking at cancer rates in zip codes where the contamination is suspected to have originated from spills of PFOA and PFOS.
